YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED --  (1) You asked the name of the papal bull giving Ireland to the English:

The name of the "bull" is Laudabiliter and was issued by the only Englishman to become pope, one Nicholas Breakspear, who had taken the name of Pope Adrian IV in 1154.

It was to be confirmed by later popes, and over time became entwined with papal justification for the action which cited the "Donation of Constantine" the Great, dated 324.  This document granted the church dominion of about half of the then known world and its many islands.  As it turns out, this document was actually forged at Rome in about the 8th century ...possibly by Pope Paul I (757-67), but most certainly on his watch.  Subsequent popes did not shrink from using it for justification of their "lawful" authority.

Over the years a number of Catholic scholars have tried to distance the church from both of these documents.  In all of their arguments it seems to go unnoticed that, forged or not, the church promulgated them both as the truth, and acted upon them.  For whatever reason, the Irish people have seemingly never questioned the authority of the bishops of Ireland, who from the start threatened to excommunicate them if they did not faithfully serve the English monarchy.

It also seems to go unnoticed that the church has never officially renounced these monstrous activities and claims, or even humbly asked the forgiveness of the Irish people for their lies --much less for the great suffering endured as a result.
